Barvista - April 2026

I've been carrying on from last months progress really with the initial ticket system. Now, we have a more interactive ticket system, randomized customer names and a few bits behind the scenes.

Most of this month has been a lot of consideration for future systems. I've been thinking about the build menu a lot of how to implement this. I've essentially sorted the boring stuff out with it, level requirements, cost, sizing, icon generation, object rotation and lots more. Build systems have a lot going off in them to make it feel customizable for a player! I don't really want to put players into a prebuilt world as for a coffee shop game I think it's important for players to have the ability to make it their own to suit their playstyles. I think this is an important aspect to any game as it adds a personal touch to it. Not everybody likes green curtains!
