This month I've done a few things...
- Created a main menu with options for resolution, FPS, and sound settings.
- Optimised customer pathfinding, dealing with lots and lots of edge cases around different tilemap layer issues.
- Improved customer queueing systems, making them stand closer together and dynamically create queues based on the environment the player makes.
- I also made the beginnings of a build system for the restaurant..
- And some bug fixes as well.
Oh and an ordering system... kinda. We got a lot of systems going off... IT LOOKS JANK BUT IT WORKS OKAY YOU GOTTA TAKE MY WORD FOR IT RIGHT NOW. Most of this is foundational stuff so expect lots of polish to come and when the game loop is fully fledged... some playtesting to see that it actually works!
